A sender Id is an alphanumeric word that descibes your company. No monthly fee is involved in using sender ids. For instance all messages sent from us are branded by our sender id : MODERNSOFT

A shortcode is a series of numbers that messages are sent and received via it. To be able to integrate, the customer bares the cost for registering the shortcode as well as the monthly fee involved. Shortcodes may be registered either dedicated(owned fully by the customer) or shared (among several customers separeted by keywords)
